A veterinarian can conduct medical work in agricultural enterprises, specialized complexes, racetracks, zoos, kennels, veterinary clinics; monitor the quality of livestock products in markets, meat processing enterprises, and enterprises for the production and sale of veterinary drugs, etc. The area of professional activity of a veterinary and sanitary doctor includes the protection of human health from diseases that can be transmitted through animal food. Veterinary and sanitary doctors work in the state veterinary service, veterinary and sanitary examination departments at the state border and transport, meat processing plants, markets, etc. The Institute has six departments, a clinic for farm animals, a clinic for «Diseases of small Pets» and various scientific and educational laboratories.

Entrance examinations: Russian language, Biology, Mathematics (professional level).
